Sofa heritage

We know that when our customers are looking for furniture, they’re looking for furniture that’s fabulous.

So, when it came to rebranding in 2020, we chose to call our company Fabb because we know we can make every piece of our furniture Fabb for our customers.

We’ve been lovingly crafting sofas since 1979 and are proud to be able to say that many are designed and handmade in our Lancashire workshop. Our expert craftsmen and women draw on over 40 years of design and manufacturing knowledge to ensure that we produce high quality furniture that’s affordable for most budgets.

Prior to our rebrand, we were known as AHF, the largest independent home furnishings retailer in East Anglia, and we were owned by Anglia Co-operative.

Fast forward to today and we’re now a privately owned furniture retailer that’s been gaining market share on sofas for the last 4 years.

Bed heritage

Our bed heritage stretches right back to the 1870s when we manufactured the first of our mattresses from our base in the quiet town of Trowbridge.

Since those days, we have continued to be an industry disrupter and pioneer of innovation; in the 1930s, we introduced the interior spring mattress to the UK and were one of the first to develop pocket spring units.

We’ve continued to grow and push the manufacturing boundaries. We are proud to say that we are now one of the largest bed manufacturers in the UK and have been gaining market share on beds for the last 4 years.

Our strong performance has been due to the ethos we took right from the start; to focus on quality and safety – and we proudly carry the quality pledges to demonstrate this commitment.

We’re also the ONLY national bed retailer who is a Premier Retail NBF champion, Fabb Furniture’s commitment to supporting NBF brands and ethos is unrivalled.
